Cheers to August! A month filled with precious memories. This month has brought Sababay into two very different sides of Jakarta’s lifestyle scene: the creative energy of Lokal Indonesia Artisan Market and the lively atmosphere of Taman Brightspot. For us, these moments are more than just showing up at events. They are opportunities to bring wine into the spaces where people gather, discover new things, enjoy good music, and create memorable moments together.

Across both events, guests could explore a selection of Sababay wines. From our refined Reserve Series and refreshing Sparkling Series to the vibrant Sangria Series. Each bottle offered different ways to enjoy wine—whether shared over a meal, enjoyed with friends, or simply discovered for the first time.

Sababay at Lokal Indonesia Artisan Market

This event was held on the 7th until 9th of August. Lokal Indonesia Artisan Market brought together a curated selection of Indonesian businesses personally chosen by the host. From food and beverages, to clothing, beautiful souvenirs, accessories, and all sorts of collectibles. 

With the theme for this year’s Lokal Indonesia is Indonesia Independence Day, the venue was decorated to celebrate the occasion. Sababay is proud to showcase our wine made in Indonesia, crafted from international varieties of grapes grown in Bali.

Sababay at Taman Brightspot

Nothing better than celebrating the weekends with friends, music, and wine at Taman Brightspot, an event located at Urban Forest Cipete. A menu was available, listing every variant available for direct consumption or take it home. It also features one of our best cocktails; The Mimosa Moscato, made from our best seller Moscato de Bali mixed with sweet and tangy orange juice. The perfect drink for a hot summer day.

Sababay serves many customers, satisfying their curiosity. Wine taste testing was also available for those curious about wine. Tasting was also part of the experience, so everyone can have a wine suitable to their preferences. Either served in a cup or wine buckets, while watching the band light it up on stage.

From a curated market celebrating local creativity to an open-air gathering filled with music and good company, August showed us just how naturally wine can fit into different moments of everyday life.
